The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) is proud to introduce the Workforce Transition Bookkeeper Professional Pathway, a new industry-led micro-credentialing program designed to strengthen the practical capability, confidence and workplace readiness of Queensland's bookkeeping workforce.

Why this program

Completing a qualification is different from feeling confident applying bookkeeping knowledge in a real business environment. This program bridges that gap, helping people turn technical knowledge into practical workplace capability.

Industry-led. Practical. Relevant.

The pathway complements existing vocational qualifications and builds practical capability, confidence and professional mindset — strengthening the connection between education, employment and professional practice.

Capability for modern bookkeeping

Participants will gain

Professional standards and workplace responsibility

Practical application in real-world environments

Troubleshooting, problem-solving and professional judgement

Working effectively with clients, employers and other professionals

  • People entering bookkeeping
