Tax Practitioner’s Board (TPB) Education Review

The TPB are seeking assistance from BAS Agents in relation to the following action items that came out of the TPB’s recent Education Working Group meeting on Thursday 31st March 2022:

 
33 03.1(a)/20220331 TPB to survey employers of newly graduated individuals completing qualifications in the Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping in relation to the adequacy of the knowledge and skills attained by those individuals in their primary qualifications.
35 03.1(c)/20220331 TPB to survey graduates who have completed the Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and have a minimum two years’ work experience in regard to whether, in their view, their qualification equipped them with the knowledge and skills required to work in the industry.

The TPB Have Developed The Following Two Surveys to Address Each Action Item:

Please bear in mind the surveys are specifically requesting feedback from BAS Agents and Employers of Registered BAS Agents.

Survey #1:

Targets registered BAS agents who have completed the Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and who have a minimum two years’ work experience.

Registered BAS Agents Survey

Survey #2:

Targets employers of newly graduated individuals who have completed the Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.

Employers of Registered BAS Agents Survey

The surveys will remain open until close of business Monday 23rd May 2022.
