The ATO combined two systems into one and shifted significant amount of data as part of their annual upgrade.
The ATO have today advised:
Activity Statement Financial Processing (ASFP) was successfully deployed over the Christmas closedown and all systems were available on 2 January 2020.
As we do each tax time, we applied a safety net to suspend all forms impacted by the ASFP deployment. This allowed us to complete validation of all of the interdependencies and the accuracy of the account and calculations.
All forms except franking deficit tax (FDT) forms were successfully released on 11 January and are now visible externally, and all payment batches are now up to date. FDT forms remain in the safety net and will be released once testing is completed.

Therefore: Members were reporting
1/ Delay in Activity Statement amounts being shown on the Integrated Client Account. These should now be showing.
2/ Where there were two payments made to the ATO on the same day prior to the shutdown, these will now show as ONE amount on the Integrated Client Account. While this is not ideal it is reality. From now on when two payments are made on the one day the ATO reprot that they will show as two different payments.
3/ Activity Statement lodgement confirmation screen (in online services) now contains additional information. When printed this may extend to 3 pages: ATO report that this may be dependant upon your browser print settings.
4/ Payment options shown only includes bPay and Aust Post. The other payments methods are to be shown and this is being worked on by the ATO at this time.
