Join Angela Sibly and Kirsten Blake and other local Bookkeepers for an evening meeting discussing some of the topical issues in bookkeeping. Running for two hours and providing two hours of CPE, the meeting is a fantastic way to meet other bookkeepers from your local area. In a relaxed atmosphere, we will focus on key topics from our newsletters and discuss any other issues or questions that our members want to add.

We also have the added advantage of David, a local accountant, who always provides insight and humour from an accountant's perspective. David may be our resident accountant, but he started off in his own bookkeeping business, so he speaks our language!

Asset Management in MYOB and Xero – covering the acquisition of a new asset with a trade-in and disposal of an existing asset. Join us as we go through this scenario in both MYOB and Xero. Come along with all your asset related questions and we will discuss what the process would involve and how this would be handled in the relevant software. Thanks to Mark Toll (an ICB member) who has so kindly volunteered (hehe!) to present the MYOB process. Angela Sibly will run you through the process in Xero.

Dependent on time, we may also cover items from the latest ICB Newsletter which may include:

  • Annual Leave During Workers Compensation.
  • New Lease Standards.
  • TPAR for Additional Industries.
  • Casual Loading Offsetting Rules.
  • Setting Up Payment Plans.

Important: If you register for the meeting but are unable to attend please cancel your registration by contacting the office on 1300 85 61 81 or email This allows people on the registration list the opportunity to attend.
