Long Service Leave on the Balance Sheet being taken

My client has Long Service Leave on her Balance Sheet. The employee is now taking this leave. How do I process this to take it off the Balance Sheet? The Balance Sheet item is the ONLY Long Service Leave item in the Chart of Accounts.
