Your thoughts please! I am meeting with Ministers and others to discuss the following topics and would like your input
Phase 2, 3 & 4 of Single Touch Payroll (getting our realistic vision on the table)
Government speaks about
- "opportunity for employers to reduce their payroll reporting burden": Lets think Payroll Tax, Workcover, what else
- "explore how payroll data collected under STP can reduce broader employer interactions with Government" What other "interactions with government" do you have around the employment information.
- "improve the integrity of welfare payments" how do you see reporting of payroll information could effect this and be a benefit
- "a discussion on the costs and benefits of collecting further data items from payroll systems."
Any thoughts or input on this next phase of discussions
