Full Time Bookkeeper Required in Windsor Immediate Start

Bookkeeper (Full-time) required for immediate start with long term prospects in boutique accounting firm close to the CBD.

Due to a recent growth in our Client Services - Bookkeeping division, an opportunity currently exists for an experienced Bookkeeper, with 3 years' experience.

Possessing a strong client service focus is imperative as is the ability to be accountable for tasks, and work productively as part of a team.

You will work closely with our Senior Bookkeeper and Accountants at all levels, to assist in processing client bookkeeping transactions as well as streamlining the work completed by the team using accounting software such as Xero & MYOB.

Good inter-personal skills combined with excellent bookkeeping skills are required. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Data entry

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable, processing and reconciliations

  • Bank Reconciliations

  • Creation of Client Data Files in Clients preferred software

  • Performing Ad Hoc bookkeeping tasks as required

Key selection criteria:

  • A minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience (preferred experience gained in Australia)

  • Payroll Experience

  • Working knowledge of accounting software packages. Xero & MYOB (essential)

  • Good attention to detail

  • Professional communication skills

  • Self-starter with initiative and ability to manage time effectively and identify priorities.

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Financial Services Bookkeeping/ Diploma or similar

  • Experience working within an Accounting Firm or a professional services environment would be an advantage.
