Matthew Addison

Matthew Addison – Executive Chairman

ICB Australia's founding Executive Director. Tax Agent, Accountant, CA, FICB, CTA. Member of Tax Practitioners Board. Represents ICB as a member of Australian Treasury Standard Business Reporting Business Advisory Forum, Australian Tax Office BAS Agents Advisory Group (and associated Withholding Tax working Group and Electronic Activity Statement Working Group). Previously an Accountant / Tax Agent in Practice RSM Bird Cameron to 1993 and then established and developed Addisons Accountants until 2008.

John Birse

John Birse – Director

John has been teaching Accounting for 40 years, first as a Secondary Commerce Teacher, then through his training company Taskforce Training and finally as part of his role as owner of the Jim's Bookkeeping Franchise. He sees his role as Director of ICB in assisting Bookkeepers in Australia to provide first line support to business in the use of systems and technology and is keen to empower Bookkeepers in believing in their ability and capacity to run profitable and professional bookkeeping practices.

Amanda Linton

Amanda Linton – Chief Executive Officer & Director

Amanda owns and manages Freedom Accounting Support, a bookkeeping and accountant support business formed in Hobart in 2005 and expanded to South Australia in 2010. Amanda has represented ICB at Tax Practitioner Board consultative forums, ATO Bookkeepers Advisory Group meetings and consulting into the strategy of ICB. She held the first Network Meeting in Hobart and now runs the Henley Beach Network Meetings in Adelaide.

Rick Van Dyk

Rick Van Dyk – Chief Development Officer

Rick joined ICB in April 2010 after working with MYOB for over 6 years as Account Manager for M-Powered Services, Education Specialist and Marketer for Professional Partners Australia and New Zealand. Prior to working with MYOB, Rick worked for 5 years for a management firm specialising in the leisure and entertainment industry firstly as a Payroll Manager (payroll of over 1,300 employees), then as the IT Manager. Prior to that Rick spent 17 years working in a service based business.

Chris McComb

Chris McComb – Technical Support / Resources

Chris has been in the accounting industry for over 30 years. She is a registered BAS Agent, with a Bachelor of Business and has been an MYOB CC for over 10 years. Her experience extends from working with accounting firms, accounting program software house in support and training to running her own business in consulting and bookkeeping. Her business now has a team of bookkeepers to allow her to consult and provide BAS Agent services. Her role at ICB extends from technical support, resources, product training, workshops, reviews and webinars.

Chloe Frost

Chloe Frost – Social Media / Design Co-ordinator

Chloe is new to the ICB team, commencing work in June 2017. Coming from a creative background, Chloe has a bachelor degree in Graphic Design and Photography, and has recently completed her Masters in Marketing. Chloe manages ICB's social media channels and coordinates the design and style of ICB's collateral and digital publications.

Jessica Mierke

Jessica Mierke – Administration

Jessica started working at ICB in July 2015, her first permanent position since returning to work after children. She previously worked in Human Resources across the public and private health systems. Jessica enjoys gardening, camping and spending time with her family.

Gabriela Ornig

Gabriela Ornig – Technical Support

Accomplished Business/Finance Manager to small business with extensive experience as a business owner, in the manufacturing and financial services sectors, certified bookkeeper, registered BAS Agent, currently running my own bookkeeping business, understand the importance of quality bookkeeping for accurate finance management.

Gabriela enjoys networking with fellow bookkeepers and business owners striving for excellence.

Toni Ortika

Toni Ortika – Administration

Toni has been part of the Administration Team at ICB since July 2012. Toni's key role is looking after members renewals, other administration duties as well as assisting ICB's bookkeeper. Prior to working at ICB, Toni was a personal assistant to the Registrar of the Optometrists Board of Victoria and was also the accounts receivable officer for an accounting firm.

Jan Tacey

Jan Tacey – Administration

Jan is part of the Administration Team and has been working at ICB since 2010. Between the implementation of procedures and the general running of administration, Jan also looks after new applications, upgrades, assessments and rejected payments. Jan is the cheerful voice behind the phone and is always up for a chat with our members.

Deborah Thompson

Deborah Thompson – Training Facilitator

BAS Agent, Certified Bookkeeper and Trainer. Deborah started bookkeeping before personal computers. Spanning over 3 decades of technological change and innovation, Deborah has provided personal consultation, mentoring and software integration services to commercial business.

Pauline Walton

Pauline Walton – Technical Support / Resources

Pauline is a registered BAS Agent with Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) with 18 years in the bookkeeping industry, 16 of which has been working within her own bookkeeping business. Pauline was a network facilitator for ICB in Perth for 3 years and moved to Melbourne in June last year. Pauline now works part time for ICB in Technical Support and continues working within her own business bookkeeping and consulting. In her spare time, she still enjoys playing hockey.

Carmel Wright

Carmel Wright – Events Co-Ordinator / Network Facilitation

Carmel is part of the Administration Team and has been working at ICB since 2011. Aside from the day-to-day operations, Carmel also facilitates the administration of the Network Meetings as well as the arrangement of our Events including ICB Workshops and the Annual March conferences. Originally from Queensland, Carmel had the opportunity to assist at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games as the Competitions Manager responsible for the planning, organisation and management of the netball competition so she was an obvious choice to manage ICB's events.
