I’m sure that you’ve already faced a few questions from your clients around the release, so I’ve tried to capture some of the most common Q & As below. I trust they will be of assistance:

How do I know my clients have installed the compliance update of MYOB Accounting Plus 15.5 or MYOB Premier 9.5?

1) Launch the MYOB Product
2) The Welcome Screen will be displayed
3) The Welcome Screen will show MYOB Premier 9.5, or MYOB Accounting Plus 15.5 Compliance Update.

Where can I find release details in the product?

This is listed in Help > About MYOB > Australia Release Number

The Australia release number is unchanged for this compliance update

The current Australia Release Number is 15.0.2 (if Accounting Plus) and 9.0.2 (if Premier)

How do I know my clients have loaded the latest tax scales of MYOB Accounting Plus 15.5 or MYOB Premier 9.5?

1) Open the Company Data Auditor
2) Check the Tax Table revision date
3) If the Payroll Tax Table Date says 1/7/06, they have loaded the latest tax tables.
4) If an earlier date is shown, load the tax tables by selecting the button, Load Tax Tables.

Note: Only load the new tax tables after the final pays have been processed for the '06 Payroll Year (which ends 30/6/06)

I have a client who bought the MYOB Accounting Plus Upgrade at Retail - it d"sn't have the compliance update on it - is this a mistake?

This is not a mistake it is a full product, it is MYOB Accounting Plus v15.0.2 with the compliance update included in it. This is because it has to cater for prior version users for whom the compliance update on its own will not work
