Do you need to complete only two units in order to re-register as a BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB)?
Many of you may have received a letter from the TPB in December 2010 regarding all the educational requirements of the Board for individual BAS Agents. Or you may have accessed the information sheet from the TPB’s website. You will have read that there are two dates for consideration.
In Summary:
- Renew prior to 28 February 2012– you are only required to have: FNSBKPG404A/FNSBKG404A – BAS and Instalment Activity Statements
- Renew after 1 March 2012– two units are required: FNSBKPG404A/FNSBKG404A – BAS and Instalment Activity Statements and FNSBKPG405A/FNSBKG405A – Establish and Maintain Payroll System
