The BIA Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) sets the standard in bookkeeping training in Australia. It is an essential accredited qualification for contract bookkeepers who wish to to meet the ATO criteria of proven competence when working under the direction of a Registered Tax Agent and  and who aspire to become a BAS Service Provider under the proposed legislation, the final draft of which is expected after the 2008 budget.
