Slow portal response times

Since Monday 22 October 2012 the Tax Agent Portal, BAS Agent Portal and Business Portal have been experiencing performance issues. Users continue to be able to access the portals, however are experiencing slower response times.

The ATO understand these slower response times are having a significant impact on your practice and your management of workloads. Since the ATO became aware of the issues, they have given the matter the highest priority and have dedicated experienced staff working to find a resolution.

What the ATO are doing

Over the last week, the ATO have been putting in place multiple corrective actions, which the ATO trust will have translated into slightly improved response times in the portals.

The ATO are actively continuing our investigations and will provide you with regular updates about our progress via the System maintenance and issues page on their website.

The ATO apologise for any inconvenience.
