Company Registration Guide

The ICB Guide to the TPB process

If you provide a BAS Service and bill through a company entity, then you must submit a company registration. The TPB seem to be following up every application so we suggest you provide as much information as possible up front, but note our comments below.

They ask you to Supply the TFN of the company to avoid any potential delays as stated below.

TRADING NAMES – a significant matter

If the billing entity uses a Trading Name then it will need to belong to that entity and you will need to provide proof of that ownership.

You will need to provide evidence that the Trading Name is owned by the Company. The Certificate of Business Registration name alone will not be enough if the Trading Name and the name of the owner is not shown on the same document.
