As from 1 July 2010, BAS Agents who are lodging through their own electronic interfaces will be able to utilise a 4 week extension to the deadline.
BAS's normally due on the 28th of the month following end of the quarter will now be eligible to be lodged upto 4 weeks later.
It must be electronic through the BAS Agents ECI or Portal.
At this time we are seeking further information about BAS Agents using the Business portal for lodgements but it appears this will not qualify.
The December quarter will still need to be lodged by the February date (which has already been extended)
Monthly BAS's receive NO extension beyond the 21st of the month following.
