Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) FNS40207
 
The course meets the entry requirements for membership of key bookkeeping industry associations. It provides entry level units for the Diploma of Accounting (FFNS50204) and Advanced Diploma of Accounting (FFNS60204) from which students can obtain credits into relevant Swinburne degree programs. There are four main study and assessment options:

 


If you have extensive bookkeeping experience


If you have limited or no bookkeeping experience


Workshop Program
RPL Online On campus
Participants must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the double entry system of bookkeeping to trial balance, including preparation of manual journals and ledgers.

The program is available at the Croydon or Hawthorn Campus and is conducted over 8 Saturday workshops (9am-5pm).

If you have been managing your own bookkeeping business for several years you may prefer to gather and submit evidence for all of some of the units required
for this qualification.

Participants must complete a Certificate III unit in double entry bookkeeping (by study, RPL or credit transfer) before commencing the Certificate IV program.

Selected units of the bookkeeping course are also available for on campus study at Wantirna as part of FNS30304 Certificate III in Financial Services (Accounts Clerical).
