Just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate Rick’s time and assistance yesterday. His assistance with the Journal entry of assets was fantastic and was a huge relief to know that the information I entered into MYOB was accurate and reflected correctly on the BASLink.

These are great sources of information – detailed & understandable. I really like the checklist of work performed and will definitely use it. Personally, I haven’t ever had to calculate depreciation & apply it to the books, I have always left it for the accountant & entered their journals at year end. I do like to ‘check’ the accountants calculations and understand their journals though.
The second document with the flow chart is good too

Just a quick note to express my appreciation in the preparation and distribution of the ICB Member Guide 2011-2012 and The Definitive Guide – The BAS Agent.
Whilst I use the website I have already found both books to be invaluable.
I have also shown them to other people, especially non ICB Members and have recommended they join ICB.
